Milkset - Our Story
- Milkset is proudly run by a mother, professional nurse & midwife with a deep love for breastfeeding—and an even deeper respect for just how demanding it can be.
- After the birth of my firstborn, I was completely hooked on breastfeeding. I never wanted to give an alternative. I was also blessed enough to have minimal struggles with breastfeeding. It felt natural, nourishing, and incredibly special. But then we went on our first family holiday... and I found myself travelling with a stash of frozen milk packed in dry ice, nervously checking if it had thawed every time we opened the cooler. That’s when it hit me—there has to be a better way.
- As a midwife and nurse specialised in sterile theatre technique, I’d spent years focused on protecting life and health in some of the most critical moments. I saw the need for a safe, reliable, and science-backed way to extend the life of expressed breastmilk. Suddenly, it all made sense: this was the perfect preparation for helping mothers preserve their breast milk—safely, effectively, and for longer.
